This 4-day pilgrimage tour offers a spiritual and cultural journey through some of Sri Lanka’s most revered Buddhist sites. Starting from Colombo, you will travel to Kandy to visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and the Bahirawakanda Buddha Statue, two key symbols of Sri Lanka’s Buddhist heritage. The second day takes you to Anuradhapura, one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka, where you will explore iconic sites like the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanwelisaya Dagoba, and Jetavanaramaya. On day three, visit Mihintale, the cradle of Sri Lankan Buddhism, and the awe-inspiring Dambulla Cave Temple. Finally, on the fourth day, you will head to Colombo to visit Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya before departing. This tour is a perfect blend of history, culture, and spirituality, offering a deep connection to Sri Lanka’s Buddhist heritage.

After breakfast, travel to Anuradhapura, one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Anuradhapura is home to several sacred sites and ancient structures. First, visit Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, the oldest recorded tree in the world, believed to be a sapling from the very tree under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. Then, explore Ruwanwelisaya Dagoba, an iconic stupa that is highly revered by Buddhists worldwide. You will also visit Thuparamaya, the oldest stupa in Sri Lanka, and Jetavanaramaya, one of the tallest brick structures in the world. The day continues with a visit to Isurumuniya Rock Temple, renowned for its beautiful carvings. You’ll spend the night in Anuradhapura, where you can reflect on the sacred sites you’ve visited

On Day 3, you will travel to Mihintale, a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site where Buddhism was introduced to Sri Lanka in the 3rd century BC. At Mihintale, explore the Mihintale Rock and Aradhana Gala, which offers a view of the surrounding landscape. You will also visit the Avukana Buddha Statue, a massive and beautifully carved statue, before heading to Dambulla. In Dambulla, you will visit the famous Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The temple, set in a series of caves, features impressive ancient Buddhist murals and statues that depict scenes from the life of Lord Buddha. Spend the night in Dambulla, in a peaceful setting close to these magnificent cultural and spiritual sites.

On the final day of your pilgrimage, you will depart from Dambulla and head back to Colombo. En route, you will visit the Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya, a sacred Buddhist temple located on the banks of the Kelani River. This temple is associated with the visit of Lord Buddha to Sri Lanka and is an important site for both pilgrims and visitors. After exploring the temple, you will be transferred to Colombo, where you can enjoy some last-minute shopping or sightseeing. In the evening, you will be taken to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure, bringing your enriching spiritual journey to a peaceful and fulfilling end.

Once you submit your booking details, we’ll proceed with the booking process. At this point, we’ll require a 20% payment. You’ll receive a booking confirmation within 48 hours of making this payment. The remaining 80% will be due 30 days before your tour begins. After that, you can proceed with your visa application.
